Candidates can apply ‘ON-LINE’ at Board’s website www.cbse.nic.in or www.ctet.nic.in. The candidate should supply all details while filling the Online Form. Candidates are required to take a print out of the computer generated Confirmation Page with Registration Number after successful submission of data. The Confirmation page is sent to CBSE. Candidates should pay the following fee:

QUALIFYING MARKS AND AWARD OF CTET CERTIFICATE
The candidates appearing in CTET will be issued Marks Statement. The Candidates securing 60% and above marks will be issued Eligibility Certificate.
School Managements (Government, Local bodies, Government aided and unaided) may consider giving concessions to person belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently abled persons, etc., in accordance with their extant reservation policy.
Qualifying the CTET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.

APPLICABILITY
The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.) and schools under the administrative control of UT’s of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands and NCT of Delhi.
CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET.
Schools owned and managed by the State Government/local bodies and aided schools shall consider the TET conducted by the State Government. However, a State Government can also consider the CTET if it decides not to conduct the State TET.

Kurukshetra University was established on 11 January, 1957 in Kurukshetra in Haryana, India (160 km from Delhi). It is a member of Association of Commonwealth Universities. The university was the dream of the then Punjab governor, Sir Chandeshwar Prasad Narayan Singh, a Sanskrit scholar, who wanted to set up an institute to promote Indian culture and traditions. The Department of Sanskrit was the first and the only department in the university when it was inaugurated by India's first president, Dr. Rajendra Prasad. Its campus is spread over 400 acres (1.6 km2).

1. Before filling the Admission Form the candidates are required to read the Prospectus carefully.

2. No column should be left blank in Admission Form; write N.A. against the column which is not applicable otherwise it will be considered as incomplete and rejected.  

3. The admissions shall be made on the basis of merit of qualifying examination plus weightages as per Rule.

4. The eligible candidates for admission to M.P.Ed. and B.P.Ed. will be required to qualify the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) which will be conducted on 06.08.2012 at 10.00 a.m. by the Director, P.G. Regional Centre, Jind.

5. Self attested photo copies of certificates/DMCs of B.A./B.Sc./B.Com Part-I, II, III & documents for weightages and photograph duly attested by a Gazetted Officer and acknowledge card bearing postage stamp of Rs.6/- must be attached with the Admission Form.  

6. No course will be started, if the strength of students is less than ten and no option will be started, if the strength is less than five.

7. Candidates  having  compartment  in  the  qualifying  examination  is  not  eligible  for  admission  to PG courses.

8. If the last date of receipt of Application Form and last date for depositing the dues falls on a holiday or that day is declared holiday by the University, the next working day will be considered the last day for the purpose.

On behalf of Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL) is coordinating a scheme of practical industrial training for B.Tech./ B.E./ M.Sc./ M.Tech./ Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Bioinformatics and BINC qualified students. The students are placed for training in Bioinformatics & Biotechnology companies willing to impart practical training to these candidates. The training is for a period of six months during which every trainee is paid a stipend of Rs. 8000/- per month. The company is also paid a bench fee to cover expenses towards training. This programme is mutually beneficial to the students and companies as it provides industrial exposure to the students and an opportunity for industry to select prospective manpower. This programme is advantageous for the companies as it gives them an opportunity to assess the performance of the trainees and subject to availability, suitable trainees could be considered for placement.

Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences is a Christian Minority Educational Institute within the meaning of Article 30 (1) of the Constitution of India. Under this provision and as per the judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, dated the 6th of December 1991, St. Stephen’s College, Delhi Vs.
