Admission Notification for Integrated MBA 2012
BIT offers a 5 year (10 Semester) Integrated MBA Programme for all eligible Class XII pass-outs aspiring for a career in the field of business management. This programme will be offered at BIT Lalpur (Ranchi City), Kolkata, Noida, Jaipur & Allahabad Centres. The programme will commence in July 2012.
The Integrated MBA Information Brochure 2012 covers admissions to the 5-year (10-semester) full-time Integrated MBA programme 2012 offered at the Birla Institute of Technology Extension Centres Allahabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lalpur and Noida. The programme will commence in July 2012.
On the successful completion of the 5-year programme, the students will be awarded the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree. Students who may prefer an early exit, may exercise option for the same before the end of the 4th semester in order to enable them to complete 6 Semesters adding to a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).
Eligibility Criteria:
1) Candidates must have 60% (50% for SC/ST) marks in Class 10 (average of all subjects).
2) Candidates must have passed with 60% (50% for SC/ST) marks (average of 4 core subjects as indicated below) in Class 12 / QE (Equivalent Qualifying Examination).
3) Percentage of marks in Class 12 to be computed as average of English + best 3 other core subjects.
Notes:
• Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1 October 1987 in case of General category and 1 October 1982 in case of SC/ST/PH are eligible for admission. Date of Birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board Class X (High School) certificate only will be considered as authentic.
• Year of first appearance in the qualifying examination (10+2) or equivalent – 2011 or 2012.
• Candidates with foreign diplomas should see the EdCIL website for equivalence (http://www.edcil.co.in), and if required should obtain an equivalence certificate from the evaluation division of the AIU (website http://www.aiuweb.org).
• In case any Board awards grades instead of marks, the calculation of equivalent marks would be based on the procedure prescribed by the Board.
• At the time of Counselling, candidates will be required to produce originals of Pass Certificate of Class 10, Marksheets of Class 10 and Class 12 showing requisite minimum marks, as well as Caste or Special Category certificates in proper format signed by appropriate authority (please see instructions).
• At any level of the studies [class X or class XII], a candidate / applicant must have passed all the required subjects at that level from the same Board.

Filling of online form commences from 9 am on 10 May 2012
Filling of online form closes at 7 pm on 11 June 2012
Last date for receipt of printouts of duly
completed online forms + Institute copy of Challan slip issued by the Bank 15 June 2012
Counselling schedules to be displayed by 25 June 2012
Tentative dates of counselling 3-5 July 2012
Date of Admission 6 July 2012 onwards
Classes will commence from 16 July 2012 at all Centres
