Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety Management (PGDISM)
Eligibility:
Basic Education Qualification and Experience:-
ESSENTIAL:
A recognised degree in any branch of engineering or technology.
OR
A recognized diploma in any branch of engineering or technology.
OR
A recognized degree in Science with 'Physics or Chemistry'.
DESIRABLE: 
Relevant experience should be in any one of the following:
Experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, maintenance or safety department in an industry;
OR
Experience in building or other construction, works or department of a port or a dock;
OR
Experience in research, training or education in the field of safety or environment;
OR
Experience in a Government Department in administration of any safety legislation.
OR
FEES AND OTHER EXPENSES:
Fee : Total 25,000/- inclusive of Registration Immediately on being offered the admission and before joining, the course fee of Rs. 15,000/- is to be paid by cash / Demand Draft / Fund-transfer in Institute's Bank Account drawn in favour of 'Institute of Administrative Studies' Payable at 'Muzaffarpur'. The next instalment of Rs. 10,000/- must be paid before the end of the first semester. Unexcusable Late fine of Rs. 100/- per week after the required date will be charged. Unless cleared all dues, no candidate will be promoted to the final semester of the course.
Fees once paid are not refundable under any circumstances.
Caution money deposit of Rs. 500 for Library facility will have to be paid in cash at the time of admission.
Resitting Examination fee of Rs. 200 per paper, subject to maximum of Rs. 1,000/- is to be paid by the student for carryover papers in which he failed or abstained. Examination Fee per Semester is chargeable @ Rs.500
In addition to the above charges, individual student shall bear the expenses in connection with industrial visits arranged as a part of the curriculum.
On study tour, the second class/sleeper rail fare only shall be borne by the Institute while incidental charges for boarding & lodging, bus & local conveyance expenses must be borne by the students.
Incidental expenses for project work, sessional work and stationery are also to be borne by the students.
