Deputy Engineer

Total number of posts : 12 
(6 Posts – General, 3 Posts reserved for – OBC,  1 Post reserved for – SC & 2 Posts reserved for – ST)
Percentage Required: First Class for General & OBC 55%  for SC & ST  

Pay Scale: 16,400 – 3% - 40500/-

1. Post: Deputy Engineer (Computer Science/ MCA) in E-II Grade – 02 post

Eligibility:

• Qualification : 1st Class in BE (Computer Science/ MCA) 

• Age: Max. 28 Years 

• Experience: Minimum of one year Experience in S/W development using C/C++/ VC++. Candidates with additional Years of Experience in Embedded Software development will be preferred.

Job Requirement:  Selected candidates will be working in a team of BEL & DRDO engineers; will be required to interact with hardware engineers of the project team; have to work on Embedded Software design for Airborne EW Systems, Display Units and also should Interact with users and design partners in understanding requirements & translating them into design requirements. The selected candidate should work on Software document generation, Maintaining S/W quality standards. He / She should also be ready to take up outstation assignments including deputation abroad & he will be deputed to DARE Bangalore on need basis; he/she should systematically record, document the knowledge gained during the deputation to DARE and port it on BEL Knowledge Management Portal and also participate in Lab integration & Flight trials

2. Post: Deputy Engineer – (Electronics & Communications / Electronics) in E-II Grade – 09 post  
• Qualification : 1st Class in BE(Electronics& Communication / Electronics) 
• Age: Max. 28 Years  
• Experience: Minimum of one year Experience in Processor based H/W & F/W, Design & Development. Candidates with additional Yrs of Experience in H/W & F/W, Design & Development will be preferred. 

Job Requirement: Selected candidates should work in a team of BEL & DRDO engineers; interact with software engineers of the project team & also should have interaction with users and design partners in understanding requirements & translating them into design requirements. He should work on PCB/Module design, Algorithm/Firmware development, Tester design for Airborne EW Systems & Display Units. The selected candidate should handle Design & Engineering document generation; Convert DRDO documents to BEL documentation standards and willing to take up outstation assignments including deputation abroad. The Engineer may be deputed to DARE, Bangalore on need basis and he/she should systematically record, document the knowledge gained during the deputation to DARE and port it on BEL Knowledge Management Portal and participate in Lab integration & Flight trials.

3. Post: Deputy Engineer - MECHANICAL ENGINEERS in E-II Grade – 01 post  
• Qualification : 1st Class in BE(Mechanical/ Aeronautical) 
• Age: Max. 28 Years  
• Experience: Minimum of one year Experience in Design of Mechanical Systems. Candidates with Experience in design of Aircraft LRUs will be preferred.

Job Requirement:  Selected candidates should work in a team of BEL & DRDO engineers; interact with system engineers of the project team & interact with users and design partners in understanding requirements & translating them into design requirements. He /She will be taking up all types of mechanical design & analysis including Thermal design, Mod kit design for Airborne EW Systems & Display Units and Design & Engineering document generation; Convert DRDO documents to BEL documentation standards. The engineer should be ready to take up outstation assignments including deputation abroad  & systematically record, document the knowledge gained during the deputation to DARE and port it on BEL Knowledge Management Portal and participate in aircraft feasibility studies & Flight trials. 

Pay & Benefits:
The selected candidates will be eligible for Basic pay, other allowances like Dearness allowance, HRA. Selected candidates will be also eligible for Perks of 48% on Annual Basic Pay. Reimbursement of Medical expenses, Performance Related Pay, Group Insurance as per Company rules, PF, Gratuity etc., will be part of the remuneration package.

METHOD OF SELECTION 
• Selection will be through a written test (Objective type in Electronics / Mechanical/ Computer Science / Aeronautical, MCA)  and followed by an Interview. Eligible candidates, who satisfy the above conditions, will be called for written test / interview. Candidates are required to produce all original certificates (SSLC Marks Card, Bachelor’s Degree’s marks card and semester – wise certificate, relevant Experience certificates and a copy of each of the above and 2 recent passport size color photograph, on the day of written test / interview . 
• Selected candidates have to execute a bond to serve minimum period of Three Years or to pay a sum of Rs 3,00,000/- Three Lakhs to the Company.  
• Candidates who have not completed BE/B Tech (Electronics / Mechanical/ Computer Science / Aeronautical) need not apply. Those who are unable to  produce their degree marks cards and certificates in original on the day of the written test/interview for whatever reason  will NOT be considered 
• Candidates not having relevant experience need not apply.  
• Eligible candidates are required to apply in the prescribed format and mail the filled in format to hrewa@bel.co.in Candidates short listed for the test will be informed through E-mail regarding the exact date, time and venue for the written test and interview. 
• If there are more eligible applicants, the number of candidates are to be called will be restricted in proportion to the requirement based on academic excellence ,experience ,age etc 
• Reservation/ relaxation for SC/ST/OBC will be made as per Government guidelines. Candidates meeting the above requirements need to forward the detailed bio-data along with recent passport size 2 photographs, photostat copy of educational qualifications, proof of age, certificate and Caste/Tribe/Community Certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC and  disability certificate in case of PWD candidates. OBC candidates are required to produce the OBC certificate as per the given format. Candidates employed in Govt./Public Sector Undertakings should forward their application through proper channel. Application should be accompanied by a Crossed DD for Rs.300/- drawn on any Scheduled Bank (preferably SBI) in favour of “BHARAT ELECTRONICS” Payable at Bangalore (SC/ST/PWD applicants are exempted). Candidates with relevant experience only need to apply.
