Admission 2012-2013 Notification

Eligibility: A candidate shall be eligible for admission to the programme of study leading to the Degree of Master of Philosophy (M.Phil), hereinafter called the programme, if he/she had taken Master’s degree of the University with atleast 55% marks (50% for SC/ST or differently abled categories) and or a degree recognized by the University for this purpose as its equivalent.

Provided, however, that the cases of students who have passed examination outside the Indian Universities system and who may not have obtained a Master’s degree may be considered for admission to the programme subject to the condition that each case shall be examined on its own merit by the Admissions Committee and in accordance with the recommendations of the Equivalence Committee.
