Admission to the first year M.C.A. programme for Pondicherry Engineering College and Government quota seats in the Self-Financing Colleges in the Union Territory (UT) Puducherry is centralised and made by the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC-MCA), Government of Puducherry. Number of Government quota seats in participating Self-Financing Colleges will be announced at the time of counseling after the receipt of necessary orders from Government of Puducherry.

Admission to MCA programme is based on the candidates’ performance in the Common Entrance Test - 2012 (CET-2012) to be conducted by the CENTAC-MCA. The CET-2012 will be conducted by CENTAC-MCA on Sunday, 29th July 2012 between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION 
As a pre-requisite to admission to MCA programme, candidates must have appeared in CET-2012. However, mere appearance in CET-2012 will not automatically qualify a candidate for admission to MCA programme and the candidate should fulfill the necessary admission requirements prescribed by appropriate authorities.

Age Limit : There is no age limit prescribed for admission to MCA programme.

The CET-2012 will be conducted in Pondicherry Engineering College only as per the following schedule.
