How To Apply:
Applicants should read the prospectus carefully before filling up the application form.
Bachelor’s Degree Programme Information Bulletin along with the application form (Form A) for admission into different Bachelor’s degree programmes are obtainable on payment of Rs. 300/- in the form of crossed IPO or Demand Draft payable to the Registrar, AAU, at AAU Post-Office or AAU Branch of SBI (Code No. 2003) either by post or in person from:
1. Registrar, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat 785013
2. Deputy Registrar (Academic), AAU, Khanapara, Guwahati-781022
3. Associate Dean, Biswanath College of Agriculture, Biswanath Chariali-784176.
4. Associate Dean, Lakhimpur College of Veterinary Science, Azad, North Lakhimpur-787001.
5. Officer on Special Duty, College of Fisheries, Raha, Nagaon-782103.
To obtain application form by post, a self-addressed envelope of size 23cm x 29 cm stamped for Rs. 20/- (for ordinary post) and Rs. 36/-(for registered post) is to be sent.
Separate application form should be submitted by the candidate for each discipline, if he/she desires to apply for more than one discipline in Post-Graduate programme c) Submission of application form(s): (both for U.G. & P.G.)
Application(s) duly filled in and completed in all respect must reach the Registrar, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat-785013-on or before the last date specified for the purpose.
Applications received without mark sheet, photograph, signature of guardian, permanent residence certificate (for the domicile of Assam) and received after the prescribed last date shall not be entertained under any circumstances.
Downloading application form from the university website: The Information Bulletin and the applications forms for admission to various degree programmes of the university can also be downloaded from the university website: www.aau.ac.in However, the applicants obtaining application forms from the website, shall have to deposit Rs. 300/- in the form of crossed IPO/ Bank Draft payable to the Registrar, AAU, at State Bank of India, AAU Branch (Code No. 2003) Jorhat along with the application form.
