How to Apply for NMAT 2013
NMIMS or Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies has announced the admission for the academic year 2013-15 through NMAT 2013. NMAT is the computer based MBA entrance exam conducted by NMIMS for the admission to the MBA programs of the institute.
The computer based NMAT 2013 would be held across a window of almost two and a half months, starting from Thursday, October 11, 2012 to Monday, December 19, 2012. The registration process will start from Wednesday, July 11, 2012. The last date to apply for NMAT 2013 is Tuesday, September 25, 2012.
This year too, the candidates are allowed to take thrice. According to NMIMS, apart from the original attempt, the NMAT 2013 takers are allowed to have a choice of two retakes. “The best of three scores shall be considered by NMIMS for admissions to MBA, MBA-Banking, MBA-Capital Market, MBA-Human Resources & MBA-Pharmaceutical Management at Mumbai campus and PGDM at Bengaluru & Hyderabad Campuses,” states NMIMS.
How to apply:
For appearing for NMAT online application has to be duly submitted and payment of registration charges need to be made in any of the prescribed mode within stipulated time
Candidates can apply for more than one programme/campus as per his/her eligibility by giving preferences
The preferences once given cannot be changed later on
There will be three radio buttons for registration; MBA (Full Time), PGDM and both (Full Time MBA and PGBM)
A candidate who wishes to apply for more than one campuses has to select the third option of both and has to pay registration charges
The mode of payment will be as credit card or cash at bank or demand draft
Note: NMAT 2013 would be an objective type multiple choice test.
There is no negative marking in the scoring scheme of NMAT 2013.
The schedule and the registration process for NMAT 2013 are as follows:
Registration: 11th July, 2012, Wednesday to 25th September, 2012, Tuesday
Registration Charges: Rs 1650/- for normal registration for either MBA (Full Time Mumbai Campus or PGDM) Rs 2000/- for both MBA (Full Time Mumbai Campus and PGDM)
Late Registration: 26th September, 2012, Wednesday to 04th October, 2012, Thursday
Registration Charges: Rs 2150/- for late registration for either MBA (Full Time Mumbai Campus or PGDM); Rs 2500/- for both MBA (Full Time Mumbai Campus and PGDM)
Scheduling: 19th July, 2012, Thursday to 05th October, 2012, Friday
Rescheduling: 18th July, 2012, Wednesday to 17th December, 2012, Tuesday
NMAT 2013 would be conducted at 18 centers located at Delhi, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Cochin, Indore, Allahabad, Bhilai, Bhopal, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Patna and Guwahati.
