BACHELOR OF PHYSIOTHERAPY (B.P.T)
Eligibility Criteria:
i) Essential Qualification: The candidates should have passed the intermediate Examination under 10+2 scheme or an equivalent examination recognized by the Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English scoring at least 50 % marks in aggregate of these subjects. In case of SC/ST candidates the marks for eligibility shall be 40%. The candidate who has not passed his/her 10+2 examination in all the subjects on the date of counseling shall not be eligible.

ii) Age: He/She should have attained the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of joining the course.
Number of seats : 40
Duration of Course: It will be a regular full time four years course of Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) followed by compulsory 6 months internship.
Admission Procedure :
a) The Candidates seeking admission to BPT course should send their applications on the prescribed form (available in the prospectus). The prospectus can be procured from the office of Principal, Saket College of Physiotherapy, Kalka road, Chandimandir, Panchkula (Haryana) by depositing cash or enclosing a Bank Draft in favour of Saket College of Physiotherapy payable at Chandimandir for Rs. 200/- towards the cost of prospectus. Application Forms can also be downloaded from our website www.saketphysiocollege.com
Note: Applicants of downloaded forms must enclose a bank draft for Rs. 200/- towards the cost of prospectus in favour of Saket College of Physiotherapy payable at Chandimandir.
b) The candidates must fill in the application form legibly and correctly in their own handwriting.
c) Application forms duly filled and complete in all respects should reach the office of the Principal, Saket College of Physiotherapy, Kalka road, Chandimandir, Panchkula (Haryana) on or before 11th July, 2011.
d) The short listed candidates will be intimated individually by post to appear before the selection Board for the interview and counseling.
e) The interview & counseling will be held on 15th July, 2011 at 11:00 am in the Board Room of Saket College of Physiotherapy, Chandimandir.
f) The candidates must report at Saket College of Physiotherapy, Kalka Road Chandimandir at 10:00 a.m. sharp on the day of counseling and must register their name in the attendance register and get their certificates and documents verified and then appear before the counseling board for the interview.
g) The final result for admission will be displayed on the same evening in the college notice board.
h) The selected candidates must deposit the original certificates on the date of counseling to get the admission order.
i) The selected candidates must complete the admission formalities and deposit the college fees on or before 19th July, 2011, by 4:30 p.m.
j) Those who fail to complete the Admission formalities by 4:30pm of 19th July, 2011 will forfeit their right of Admission to BPT course and the seat will be offered to candidates in the waiting list.
k) No relaxation will be given to candidates who are unable to appear before Counseling & Interview Board on the fixed date.
l) The academic session will commence from 1st September, 2011.
Fee Structure : (Bachelor of Physiotherapy Course)
Tuition fee : Rs. 30,000/- per annum.
Security : Rs. 5000/-
(Refundable after completion of course)
Laboratory fee : Rs. 1000/- per annum
Library fee : Rs. 1500/- per annum
College development fee : Rs. 1500/- per annum
Hostel Charges : Rs. 10,000/- per annum
Hostel Electricity : Rs. 2000/- per annum
Mess Charges : Rs. 1200/- per month

Hostel Security : Rs. 1000/-
