DU M.A in Performing Arts (Theatre Art) Programme Admission 2012-2013
Applications in prescribed forms are invited from the eligible intending candidates for admission to the Four Semester Full time MA in Performing Arts (Theatre Art) Programme to be conducted in the Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Centre for Studies in Performing Arts, Dibrugarh University for the session 2012-2013.
Eligibility for Application:
The candidates having Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts (Drama Specialization)/ Theatre Art from Dibrugarh University or any University recognized by Dibrugarh University shall be eligible to apply for admission to the Programme.
Candidates having Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts (in specialization other than Drama) may also apply for admission to the Programme. However, they shall have to qualify in an entrance test conducted by the University.
Graduates of any stream having special training on Drama/ Theatre Art by any recognized institute or having recognition of performing or teaching Drama/ Theatre Art in national or state level may also apply for admission. They shall have to qualify an entrance test conducted by the University.
Application Form along with the Information Brochure can be obtained from the Office of the Deputy Registrar (Academic), Dibrugarh University on payment of Rs.300/- (Rupees Three hundred) only in the University Cash Counter from 13.08.2012. Application forms can also be downloaded from the website- www.dibru.ac.in and it should be accompanied by a demand draft of Rs. 300/- drawn in favour of ‘The Registrar, Dibrugarh University’ payable at State Bank of India, Dibrugarh University Branch (Code No 2051) at the time of submission.
Last date of submission of completed application form at the Office of the Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Centre for Studies in Performing Arts, D.U. is 31.08.2012. Date of Entrance Test is 04.09.2012. Date of admission is 07.09.2012.
