Pt BD Sharma University of Health Science MBBS BDS NRI Entrance Test 2012-2013
Eligibility:
He/she should attain the age of 17 or more on 31st December, 2012
The age shall be determined as per entry in the matriculation/higher secondary or its equivalent certificate
Candidates must have passed Senior secondary school certificate examination (10+2) of board of school education, Haryana or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto with atleast 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and must have passed the subjects of Physics, Chemistry,
Biology and English individually, in qualifying examination
For NRI candidates the equivalence and eligibility of candidates will be determined by Pt BD Sharma
University of Health Sciences, Rohtak
NRI candidates who have cleared the qualifying examination in grading system must produce conversion certificate of grading to the percentage of marks from the competent authority
The candidates must have come in the merit list prepared as a result of the competitive entrance examination by securing not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the competitive examination
The candidates against NRI seats in PGIMS, Rohtak, BPS Govt Medical College for Women, Khanpur Kalan, Sonepat and Post Graduate Institute of Dental Sciences, Rohtak will be admitted on merit determined on the basis of total marks obtained in the entrance examination conducted by the University
The equivalence and eligibility of candidates will be determined by Pt BD Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak
Admission against seats reserved for NRI candidates will be made in the following manner in order of priority
The seats will be filled up from actual NRI candidate of Haryana state
If actual NRI candidate of Haryana state are not available then these seats of NRI will be filled up from the children of Haryana State NRI
If still the seats of NRI remain unfilled then actual NRI from the state other than Haryana
If actual NRI of other states are not available then these seats of NRI will be filled up from their children
Duration: MBBS course is of five and half academic year including one year compulsory rotating internship
BDS course is of five academic years including one year rotating internship training
Seats: MBBS; 5 seats; Pt BD Sharma PGIMS, Rohtak
MBBS; 3 seats; BPS Govt Medical College for Women, Khanpur Kalan, Sonepat (seats are exclusively for female candidates)
BDS; 2 seats; Post Graduate Institute of Dental Sciences, Rohtak
Fee: MBBS 25000 US$ at the time of admission; 12500 US$ per year for 4 years
BDS 10000 US$ at the time of admission; 5000 US$ per year for four years
Fees once deposited shall not be refunded under any circumstances and no correspondence will be entertained
In addition to above, other fees including tuition fee and other funds will be paid by the candidates as prescribed by the university/college concerned
During the entire course, the fee will be paid by the candidates in US$ or Indian Rupees equivalent to the required fee in US $ with the statement from the Bank that the amount has been withdrawn from the NRE/NRI A/c of the spouse
Fee is likely to be revised from time to time by state admission committee
