WBNUJS PhD Entrance Exam 2012-2013 Notification 

WBNUJS PhD Degree Programme Admission 2012-2013

Applications are invited in prescribed proforma for admission to PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) Degree

Eligibility: 
Any candidate who satisfies the following conditions is eligible to seek registration for Ph.D in the University upon application for provisional registration
The candidate shall have LL.M degree or any Master’s degree having the potentiality of interdisciplinary study with law from any university recognized by UGC or equivalent LL.M or Master’s degree of foreign university with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA

WBNUJS PhD Entrance Exam: Admission to Ph.D shall be through an entrance test followed by an interview
The entrance test shall consist of one paper of 80 marks with 3 hours duration
The syllabus of the paper shall cover; Law and Social Transformation in India; Indian Constitutional Law (The New Challenges); Judicial Process and Legal Education; Research Methodology
The interview shall be for 20 marks

WBNUJS PhD Entrance Test Fees: Registration fees of Rs 10,000/- (non-refundable) (at the time of registration) plus annual fees of Rs 15,000/- per annum (non-refundable)

Application Form: The applications need to be accompanied by a demand draft of Rs 1000/- in favour of the Registrar, WBNUJS, Kolkata payable at Kolkata
Complete applications in all respect to be addressed to the Registrar, WBNUJS, 12 LB Block, Sector-III, Salt Lake City, Kolkata-700098 by 11th August, 2012

The last date for submission of the application is 11th August, 2012
Candidates for PhD degree shall have to take an entrance examination on 27th August, 2012, Monday, 11.00 a.m.
